IMPACT Awards Reopen for 2011

The annual GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) IMPACT Awards are now open for applications.
The competition offers cash prizes to charities that work in the fields of health and social care and are designed to recognise and reward small to medium sized charities that are doing excellent work to improve people’s health in the UK.
Organisations will be expected to demonstrate how their work reflects the following six areas of IMPACT:
- Innovation.
- Management.
- Partnership.
- Achievement.
- Community Focus.
- Targeting Need.
Prizes are as follows:
Eight winning organisations: £25,000.
Four "commended" organisations: £5,000.
Three runners-up: £3,000.
Organisations will also receive free training of up to £4,000 as part of the IMPACT Awards Development Network.
The deadline for applications is 23 September 2011.
