How to become a member
Membership Criteria
Membership is available to organisations in the voluntary, third and public sectors which provide a helpline for the purpose of enabling everyone to enjoy the best possible mental health.
Members are expected to demonstrate a positive commitment to:
- Working together to further the objectives of the Partnership, in the best interests of users of services.
- Quality through active engagement in the process of accreditation.
- Continued professional development (CPD) through recognised accredited learning.
- Involving users of services in the development and monitoring of services.
- Promoting diversity within their organisation.

Completed forms should be accompanied by:
- The most recently filed annual report and accounts.
- Evidence that the organisation has in place, or is actively developing, procedures and practices that demonstrate its compliance with the membership criteria.
Applications will be considered at the next available Board meeting.
Members must pay the relevant annual charge for membership that is agreed by the Partnership and will be reviewed annually.
