This one day conference Chaired by Bridget Penhale Editor Journal of Adult Protection and Reader in Gerontology School of Nursing and Midwifery University of Sheffield focusing on Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults is an opportunity to hear practical advice from leading healthcare professional on strengthening the safeguarding framework and implementing ‘No Secrets’. Lucy Bonnerjea Policy Lead No Secrets Review Department of Health opens the conference with a presentation on empowerment and the consultation on the Review of ‘No Secrets’, involving and empowerment, measuring and monitoring the outcomes and demonstrating improvement.
