Description
“The simplest confusion comes by treating personalisation as if it is simply about freedom and treating safeguarding as if it is simply about control. But this is not a sensible way of defining these terms. These definitions are wrong, for every sensible practitioner and citizen knows that a good life requires a balance between freedom and control - and the trick is to find the right balance." EXTRACT taken FROM In Control PAPER: personalisation and safeguarding - a response to the Safeguarding Adults consultation; May 2009
This one day conference provides a practical guide to personalisation including implementing the review of the ‘No Secrets’ guidance.
