Through a series of presentations, you will hear from a variety of healthcare professionals, including the Caldicott Guardian, on topics including: Sharing of patient and service user identifiable information; implementing the new GMC guidance on confidentiality; implementing the recommendations from the Care Quality Commission study into information governance and a legal update on Confidentiality, data protection and freedom of information.

The conference is endorsed by the UK Council of Caldicott Guardians who is an independent council of Caldicott Guardians from both Health and Social Care. It is independent of, but supported by, the NHS National Programme for Information Technology, Connecting for Health
